The results of a large-scale study examining recreational AAS use (n = 7,600) in the United States also suggested that AAS-using college students were more aggressive than nonusers, and their use was associated specifically with violence toward others.This article aims to present new information on the prevalence and patterns of AAS use in college and the United States in the 20th century and to examine associations between AAS use and levels of aggression and violence. Specifically, the article explores the relation between AAS use and levels of college student involvement in team sports, physical aggression, and social participation among different groups of AAS users, student bulking foods.
